Representation career
He played 239 matches in total for Yugoslavia national
basketball team ,out of that number 205 for the senior,
12 for B team, 13 for junior and 9 for cadet national
teams.
For the senior team he played 205 matches in total
(152-53). Out of that 16 (15-1) at Olympic Games: 29
(25-4) at World Championships, 39 (28-11), 1 in
qulifications for the European Championship, 15 (14-1)
at the Balkan Games, 9 (8-1) at the Mediterranean Games
and 96 (61-35) in friendly matches.
For the national team he scored 2,175 points in total,
out of the number 167 he scored at the Olympic Games,
321 at the World Championships, 378 at the World
Championships, 14 in Qualifications, 217 at the Balkans
Game, 126 at the Mediterranean Games and 952 in friendly
matches.
He played for the national team for the first
time in a match against Canada on 24 July 1975 in
Belgrade, where the coach was Mirko Novosel.
